Rwanda is becoming a deal in technology in Africa. The country is working hard to make this happen by doing things in a way across the government, laws and schools.
The Ministry of ICT and Innovation made a plan called the National AI Policy. This plan looks at six areas to make sure that Artificial Intelligence is developed in a good way and that everyone has access to it. The government also created the National Artificial Intelligence Agency to make Artificial Intelligence a key part of the countrys plans and to make the public sector work better.
At the time the Government of Rwanda is working with ALX and Anthropic to train people in Artificial Intelligence. They are testing a tool called Chidi, which is a learning companion powered by Claude. They are training 2,000 teachers and government workers to use this tool in classrooms.
